    Amelia Earhart Survived

Post by islandgrl on Sat Dec 18, 2010 4:26 pm

The mystery of aviator Amelia Earhart's disappearance has been subject of countless investigations, theories, searches and television documentaries.

But bones and artifacts found on a Pacific island has led some investigators to believe aviation's first pioneering female hero lived as a castaway and later died after crashing her Lockheed Electra into the ocean.

    Do you think she survived?

It would be amazing if DNA proved the bone fragments were from Amelia.
Disappointing if the bone turns out to be from a turtle.
I think the plane went down in the ocean and she didn't survive, but that just my unscientific opinion. Very Happy

I would like to think that Amelia & her navigator lived to a ripe old age together. If I remember correctly the rumour suggested that they were lovers. So perhaps this was their escape.
