]Ol' Mo grew fat and very slow...
So fat that he could hardly go.
Got himself a wheel chair so he could fare
And if he would take a dare,
It sure could't go in the snow

There was an old lady from Dakar
    Who was always chewing tobacca
    Her teeth were all brown
She had stains on her gown
So her boss in the Bank had to sack her.

The errant golfer forgot to shout 'FORE'

    Golfer forgot to shout 'FORE'
So his drive hit the golfer before.
It was the drive of his life.
    Said his dear wife.
But it left the golfer ahead pretty "SORE"

On his his feet he'd only nine toes.
But that was the least of his woes.
    Missing one digit,
    When outside it was frigid
Meant one less toe to get froze

There is a man, called DaffyD
At writing limericks, he is better than me.
    But its not a contest,
    And I'm doing my best
With no great success you can see.

There was old Lady in Rome.
Who lived in a humble home.
    Her diet was meagre
    And she seemed very eager
To hide the bald patch on her dome.

    Wuzfuz, a legend and poet
Is a wizard and we his friends know it
He can knock off a rhyme
    In a moment of time
While the rest of us try..... but just blow it!

Its the Diamond Jubilee of our Queen
Bur Victoria was on the scene,
    A couple of years longer
    Perhaps she was just stronger,
We should all now sing, "God save our gracious Queen"

    A lesbian girl from Khartoum,
Took a gay young man to her room
    She said "Lets just wait"
    "Get something straight"
"Who does which and with what and too whom?"

    Anymouse

That was a little bit rude
In the past when I was drinking
It changed my way of thinking.
Now that I'm sober, that is all over.
But I still sometimes tell jokes that are crude.

I am now............ so discumbobulated 10_9_206 Laughing
Don't remember the last thing, I stated
    Did I speak of Bombay..
    Or the Lady in May???
Or will my next words be repeated! Very Happy

So perhaps we can gain our composure winking
Begin a new lyric that's "Proper"
    And now "blah..blah...blah".......
    Someone adds..."lad-de-da"........
    To complete a new lyric
    That's 'Kosher'! dancingBanana

Don't know what that word means but it seems
A compliment of some sort for a sport
Or just to give me a buzz?

    Back in 1852
I used to dance the 'Boogleloo'
    Such tepsichorean steps were
    Shall we say..'Quite new'
But that was in another life
    Before I was born again
An era of more peace than strife
Where peace and harmony did reign.
So pay you no heed to what I say
'Tis but with words that I do play.

I'll dance an 'Old Time Waltz' with our Wuzfuz...
    A terpsichorean wizard the'Fuz' wuz
    Just dancing 'til dawn.....
Until that new day is born

I have always found a terpsichorean interpretation of a limerick (i.e. step by step to a rhythm)ran something like this......

    Dah de dah de dah
    Dah de dah de dah
    Dah de dah
    Dah de dah
    Dah de dah de dah!

There was an old woman of Kent
Who instead of coming she went
    Dressed completly in black
    Met herself coming back
For the road she was on was so bent

    Dah rah!
