    Humming Birds

Post by Willows on Wed Jun 02, 2010 8:47 pm

    From my email......

"ANYONE WHO LIKES HUMMINGBIRDS WILL LOVE THIS ONE

    -----

Here an excerpt from PBS-NATURE featuring pictures that a wildlife cinematographer took of the secret life of hummingbirds. The photographer uses a high speed computer controlled camera called the Phantom scope and also a "boroscope" that can put the camera's lens right into a flower to watch the little guy's feeding !

(The video is available in High Definition, be sure to adjust to 720p resolution with full screen)"

This video is about 10 minutes long, so sit back, relax and enjoy.

That was amazing. Willows you find such neat stuff on the internet. I never go to UTube as I don't know how to navigate my way around there.

Glad that you enjoyed that Islandgrl.

YouTube is easy! Just type whatever you want to see in the Search Bar at the top of the page and ...that's all that there is to it....
Eg...if I want to see a video on flower arranging....I'd just type in Flower Arranging or Tutorial - Flower Arranging. BTW.....there are many, many tutorials on YouTube.
For music.....if I want to see Johnny Cash...typing in Johnny Cash will bring up many of his videos....or search..Humour/Funny Videos/50's....60's etc. music? etc..etc..
Just use your back arrow to see previous page.

Copy the URL from the "whatchyamaycallit" bar at the top of the screen... (I don't know what it's called  )....to paste wherever.

Fantastic piece of footage, unfortunately here in the UK we do not have these beautiful birds, I wish we did as I could watch them all day, they have so many different colours to them depending on where they live.
I did live in St Lucia some 28 years ago and as she said they are also native to the Caribbean, its quite possible I saw them but just didn't notice tham at the time.

I love them so much. They are a pleasure to watch flitting around the yards.
