    I am watching this

Post by islandgrl on Sat May 28, 2011 2:21 pm

I have two robins nesting my yard. One has a nest in the branches of my blackberries and the other is up high in a maple tree. Hoping they will survive because of the feral cats that have been set loose on my property. I shooo them every time I hear the robins squacking. Worried about what will happen when the fleggings hop out of that nests.

    In the blackberry bush:

Wow! Those robin eggs are such a beautiful sight to see and the baby birds will soon be prettier once they have feathers.
It was good the nest was low so you could get this amazing picture Islandgrl.
The wonders of nature are glorious to see.

Took these yesterday and they have gotten so big in just a few days. One is missing though so I think those scavenging gackels have killed one.

well, they got out of the nest this morning. I have seen only one the others may be hiding somewhere. Hope they weren't the meal to some cats.

Oh, I hope the other little birds are there somewhere and okay.
They sure can open their beaks wide for such small little creatures.
